چکیده

We present an analysis of historical multi-wavelength emission the Changing Look (CL) Active Galactic Nucleus (AGN) in NGC 2992, covering epochs ranging from 1978 to 2021, as well new X-ray and optical spectra. The galaxy presents multiple Seyfert type transitions 2 intermediate-type, losing regaining its H$\alpha$ BEL recurrently. In X-rays, source shows intrinsic variability with absorption corrected luminosity varying by a factor $\sim$ 40. rule out tidal disruption events or variable obscuration causes show that presence flux broad line are directly correlated 2-10 keV (L$_{2-10}$): component disappears at L$_{2-10} \leq 2.6\times10^{42}$\ergcms, this value translates into Eddington ratio ($\lambda_{\rm Edd}$) 1\%. $\lambda_{\rm Edd}$ which occur is same critical there should be state transition between radiatively inefficient accretion flow (RIAF) thin disk, such similarity suggests AGN operating threshold mass rate two modes. find correlation narrow Fe K$\alpha$ Edd}$, anti-correlation full-width half maximum agreement theoretical predictions. 0 The Biconical Outflow in the Seyfert Galaxy NGC 2992

We report on a detailed kinematic study of the galactic-scale outflow in the Seyfert galaxy NGC 2992. The TAURUS-2 Imaging Fabry-Perot Interferometer was used on the Anglo-Australian 3.9-m telescope to derive the two-dimensional velocity field of the Hα-emitting gas over the central arcminute of NGC 2992. The complete two-dimensional coverage of the data combined with simple kinematic models of...

Physical Conditions in the Seyfert Galaxy Ngc 2992

This paper presents long slit spectral maps of the bi-cone shaped extended narrow line region (ENLR) in the Seyfert galaxy NGC 2992. We investigate the physical properties of the ENLR via emission line diagnostics, and compare the observations to shock and photoionization models for the excitation mechanism of the gas. The line ratios vary as a function of position in the ENLR, and the loci of ...

the effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends

flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...

The variability of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 2992: the case for a revived AGN

We report the transition to an active state of the nucleus in the Seyfert 1.9 galaxy NGC 2992, discovered by means of new hard X–ray data. While the 2–10 keV flux declined by a factor of ∼ 20 from 1978 to 1994, two recent BeppoSAX observations in 1997 and in 1998 caught the nuclear emission raising back to the same level of activity observed in 1978. In both BeppoSAX observations the X–ray spec...

Formation of a tidal dwarf galaxy in the interacting system Arp 245 ( NGC 2992 /

Among the various phenomena observed in interacting galaxies is the ejection due to tidal forces of stellar and gaseous material into the intergalactic medium and its subsequent rearranging which can lead to the formation of self–gravitating tidal dwarf galaxies (TDGs). We investigate this process with a detailed multiwavelength study of the interacting system Arp 245 and a numerical model of t...
